The gray permacloud has lifted and the sun is finally back out in Indiana; it’s the perfect time to try out my new Prive Revaux sunglasses! I’ve compiled a full Prive Revaux review for you here.

Yep, I had to get out of my PJs and robe, and thanks to Lyn, do a photo shoot for this post, but oh, did it feel so very good!! It was fun to go downtown in the city where I live one sunny afternoon and have the major tourist attractions all to myself (the outside at least). ????

Prive Revaux Review

I’m very old school when it comes to shopping. I like to touch and try on any clothing item that I’m considering buying.

I generally don’t have success ordering things online, and I actually think it takes less time to drive to the store and look instead of examining thousands of items on different websites. So to say I was a little wary when ordering online is an understatement. ????

When I got to the Prive Revaux website, however, my fears disappeared pretty quickly, and there were 4 things I especially liked about it. The site allows you to:

  • Narrow the choices by style, color and face shape
  • Sort those choices into different categories
  • See multiple views of the glasses, even on real people
  • Choose from an assortment, but not 100s of them

Selecting a Style

I narrowed my choices by face shape and color first and then categorized those choices by price, because I wanted to stick with a lower end price tag on my first go-round.

I ended up with the LOVEY DOVEY in Chocolate Tortoise. I love the mottled colors and the gold accent on the top!

One of the online views shows all the features, including 100% UVA/UVB protection. It also lists that they are:

  • Handcrafted
  • Scratch resistant
  • Blue-light blocking
  • Polarized
  • Anti-glare coated
  • Have Akulon-coated screws and customized barrel hinges

All this for a mere $39.95!

High-Quality Sunglasses

I ordered my Lovey Dovey sunglasses on a Tuesday afternoon, and by Friday afternoon, I had them in hand, so their turn-around time is lightning fast!

When I received my sunglasses, they came wrapped in tissue paper in a collapsible case inside the shipping box along with a card or two describing their features and satisfaction guarantee. They also came with a lens cleaning cloth.

I unwrapped them and was really surprised at their quality feel, which is solid and sturdy to be sure.

I think these highly-fashionable, quality sunglasses will serve me well for some time to come. I can’t wait to actually wear these glasses to some real events around my town as well as on upcoming Southwest Companion Pass travels!
